BIOINFORMATICS
& DATA MINING GROUP

Department of Computer and System Science University of Pavia

WELCOME

The research of the Bioinformatics and Data Mining Group of the Laboratory for Biomedical Informatics "Mario Stefanelli" aims at supporting genomic and clinical medicine by the application of the formal methods of Medical Informatics and Bioengineering. Our ultimate goal is to provide decision support methods and information technology solutions able to favor the discovery of new diagnostic and prognostic tools and new therapeutic method and to improve clinical decision making.
