BIOINFORMATICS GROUP - BMI Lab

The research of the Bioinformatics and Data Mining Group of the Laboratory for Biomedical Informatics aims at supporting genomic and clinical medicine by the application of the formal methods of Medical Informatics and Bioengineering. Our ultimate goal is to provide decision support methods and information technology solutions able to favor the discovery of new diagnostic and prognostic tools and new therapeutic method and to improve clinical decision making.

April 2010 AWARD Alberto Russu received the "Best Poster Award" at the 6th International Symposium on Measurement and Kinetics of In Vivo Drug Effects (April 21-24, 2010 in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands), for his work entitled "Disease and dropout modelling in depression trials: a state-space approach" by A. Russu, E. Marostica, G. De Nicolao, I. Poggesi, R. Gomeni and S. Zamuner.
